Would I need extensive tests and documentation if my pet is flying private?

To fly your pet out of the U.A.E., you are required to visit the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment with a valid health certificate, export/import permit and other relevant documents from MOCCAE. You are further required to visit either of the branches with your pet and his/her latest vaccination book to conduct a physical assessment by an official MOCCAE vet. Once your pet’s microchip has been scanned by the vet, the paperwork for his/her travel will be initiated. If you are bringing your pet in to the U.A.E., you are required to obtain an Import Permit from MOCCAE for your pet to enter the country.
