What documentation is needed to process an import permit?

While there are several varying documents to consider during and prior to your pet’s travels like their health certificates, tests, parasite treatments, and so on, an import permit is an essential document to enter the U.A.E. without which your pet cannot land here. 

An import permit essentially can be created within 24 hours of the document submission if we are provided with all of the required documents and we recommend for you to begin this process 18 – 20 days prior to your travels. For all those that aren’t aware, an import permit is valid for 30 days post issuance.

The documents needed would be scanned copies of your vaccination book, your passport copy, complete address within the U.A.E. and a local contact number. Based on the country of origin, i.e. the exporting country, we might further require an additional set of documents to obtain the permit.
