Should my pet exercise prior to his/her flight?

This is subjective to your pet’s personality. For example, we have noticed that when an animal has expended most of their energy on the day of and prior to their flight, they have consumed all of the excess energy and are left with lower anxiety levels.

In some cases, the process of exercise on the day of travel leaves them exhausted and with higher anxiety due to lack of energy. These occur specifically in pets that have been prescribed to motion sickness or anti-anxiety medication by vets. Animals that are on medication are specifically recommended against any extensive exercise or exertion especially on the day of travel.
