What is the arrival process for in-cabin pet arrivals?
All the pet release processes required will be done in advance by Sandy Paws upon your pet’s arrival at the Abu Dhabi Airport. Once you reach the customs area, The officer on duty will call the MOCCAE vet to meet you and cross-verify all your originals with the documents we have handled. In addition, your pet’s microchip will be scanned and upon completion of this, you can exit the airport. Please bear in mind that the doctor can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2+ hours to arrive at the customs area, so you might have to factor in a waiting period that is out of our control.
