How are flight delays dealt with?

When relocating your pets, they are more than just cargo. They are a member of our family and we treat them as you would. Post check-in while dogs are let out of their travel kennels for a walk or bathroom break, cats and all other types of pets are kept in their crates at the animal holding area. This is in the cargo building, which is constantly and carefully monitored while being a climate-controlled area handled by the airline staff.  

When being placed in an airline, they are the last to go in and first to be taken out. In the case of a significant delay in departure, your pet will be taken back to the animal holding room by a trained and expert handler until the delay has been resolved.

Upon confirmation of the departure, your pet is then taken back into the flight.
